Keepin Up with the Jones'

So I've finally decided to join the 21st century and begin a blog page for our family. I decided this would allow me the opportunity to share some of the excitement (real and imagined) in our lives with those we love.
We've survived Christmas again, and have already been asked by Brynn when Santa will be arriving again. Luckily she has a birthday just around the corner to distract her. :) It has been great fun to watch the girls playing together with the toys they got for Christmas. We are very into dolls at the moment, so we have Little People dolls, Barbies, and Doll Houses everywhere.

Brynn is my little canary. She loves singing. At the moment she is sitting on my lap singing the Wise Man and the Foolish Man. This is good progress from Santa Clause is Comin' to Town, which has been her song of choice for the last week or so. It makes me happy to have someone else in the family that loves to sing, as Donovan acts as if singing is torture.

Brooke is my monkey child. She has been emptying out my cooking utensil drawer tonight, so she has something to play drums with. One of her favorite games is to use my salad tongs to try to catch Zoe's nub (otherwise referred to as a tail). Luckily Zoe is a VERY patient and loving dog, and tolerates Brooke very well. Zoe even sits nicely for Brooke to ride her when Brooke is pretending to be a cowgirl.
